Styrian Cardinal is a wonderful aroma hop developed by the Slovenian Institute for Hop Research. When used as an aroma hop, it imparts fruity, citrus and floral aromas, with predominant pineapple, tropical fruit, strawberry and anise notes. Due to its high total oil content, it makes for a great hop for an IPA or hoppy pale ale.
